Dave Bonaiuto

Dave Bonaiuto is a criminal justice consultant and subject matter expert in the implementation of evidence-based practices. He has over a decade of experience training, coaching, and leading efforts to integrate motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral interventions, risk need assessment, contingency management, and implementation frameworks into criminal justice settings nationwide. He has been involved in multiple statewide implementations, led countywide efforts as the manager of a multi-agency partnership, and continues to inspire staff and leadership in transforming criminal justice practice. 

Passionate about facilitating behavior change in professionals and organizations, Dave specializes in eliciting motivation in the most resistant of places.  As a coach at ACJI, Dave supports leadership growth through adaptive problem solving, emotional intelligence development, and coaching focused on personal and organizational behavior change.
